Mazda Case Study on the Introduction of Vibration and Noise Analysis Software 'VA One'
Creating a Quiet Car! Introducing Examples of Utilizing Simulations for Noise Control Measures.
Mazda Corporation's NVH Performance Development Department is a division that analyzes sound and vibration, working on the realization and improvement of acoustics, vibration, and ride comfort. In our department, we use 'VA One' to evaluate the noise reduction effects of interior materials in their installed state. By changing parameters such as the arrangement, quantity, and material (sound absorption capacity) of sound-absorbing materials, we can evaluate the noise reduction effects of these materials based on the in-vehicle noise levels through simulation. This analysis employs a computational method called SEA, which not only offers fast computation speeds but also allows for the understanding of power transmission paths from external inputs, making it useful when considering the arrangement of sound-absorbing materials. 【Benefits of Implementation】 ■ Fast computation speed ■ Ability to understand power transmission paths from external inputs ■ Effective when considering the arrangement of sound-absorbing materials ■ Contributes to achieving maximum sound absorption effects *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
